At Orange Badge Mobility we believe your bathroom should be a place of rest and relaxation, a private sanctuary where you can unwind. However, for many people bathing and showering can be a difficult and frustrating experience, especially for less able users who need to rely on walking frames. Climbing in and out of a standard bath or trying to step into a high shower tray is simply not an option. Orange Badge Mobility’s extensive range of walk-In baths, specialist baths and Level-Dec shower solutions could be the answer you are looking for.
Our range of Walk-In baths and specialist baths are designed and manufactured by a team of experts who have many years experience in bathing ergonomics. By listening to users, professionals and specialists in patient handling, the manufacturers of our walk-in baths have created a range that can meet bathing requirements from an end user at home, to a care home or intensive care wards in hospitals.
Ensuring that the right bathing options are selected is essential. Consideration to future needs, intensity of use, and levels of dependency all need to be taken in to account. Whether you are the end user at home, or the manager of a care home or hospital, it is imperative you make an informed decision.
You can be assured that you are receiving both a quality product along with full back-up from sales through to customer care. All our walk-in baths and specialist baths are built to meet strict quality standards and each bath is thoroughly tested before leaving the factory. A full installation, maintenance and inspection service is available to ensure your walk in bath meets with all current building regulations, safety standards and disability legislation.
Orange Badge Mobility’s extensive range of Easy Access showers and Level-Dec showers offer a number of solutions to suit both the individual layout of your bathroom as well as a price to suit most realistic budgets. From luxurious Wet-Rooms, Easy Access Showers to Easy Access shower cubicles where re-tiling is not required. Whatever requirement you have, we believe we can offer a versatile solution to help you maintain a high level of personal hygiene. We can offer modern contemporary designs to suit our more discerning customer’s needs, or a more practical design to suit a specific budgetary requirement.
All installations are project managed to make sure that the installation goes ahead smoothly. With our highly qualified installation teams, you can be sure your bathroom conversion is in good hands. We will carry out all the necessary building, plumbing, electrical, tiling and flooring requirements to suit both your taste and your budget. As you would expect, all the work would meet with the highest building regulation standards and all parts and labour are fully guaranteed. To give you peace of mind before you make a commitment to have your bathroom converted, you can view a selection of Walk-In baths and Level-Dec showers in our new extended assessment centre in Lewes, East Sussex. So why not try them out first, and see what bathing solution would suit your specific needs best. All bathroom conversions are subject to a site survey before the work begins.
If however visiting our assessment centre presents you with a problem, we will gladly arrange to visit you at home and assess your specific bathing needs. As you would expect, this service is free of charge and puts you under no obligation whatsoever. If after assessing your particular bathing needs we may find that a bathroom conversion is not the right solution for you at this time, we are sure we have a number of other products such as an extensive range of bathlifters or bathing aids to make your life that little bit easier.
If the use of a traditional toilet is difficult (perhaps the advance of arthritis may have impaired the use of hands) then these options will enable you to retain your independence and dignity by providing complete cleanliness easily.
By providing a wet-room facility, you will no longer have any obstructions to concern yourself with. Simply walk into the shower area, sit down and enjoy a warm refreshing temperature controlled shower. Ideal for you and perfect if you are tended to by a carer, and of course you can also enter with a mobile shower chair. Probably the ultimate in safety and versatility of use.
Similar to a “wet-room”, but the shower-tray area is slightly raised by typically 1.5”-3” – a minor obstruction for many by comparison to cubicle type shower arrangements.
By replacing your existing bath-tub with a walk-in bath – you can enter your new bath easily-through the door. Simplicity. Tubs with moulded-seats are especially popular, and can be fitted in just 1 day in many cases.
The addition of simple products, such as grab-rails, toilet surrounds, toilet raisers etc, can offer real benefits and also provide improved safety.
