If however visiting our assessment centre presents you with a problem, we will gladly arrange to visit you at home, and where possible, demonstrate certain equipment that you may be interested in. As you would expect, this service is free of charge and puts you under no obligation whatsoever. Details and explanations of all the different types of motors available are highlighted below.
These chairs are operated by a simple 2 button handset - which means that you have the following functionality.
When moving into recline the footboard rises to a horizontal T.V. position followed by the back reclining. The chair will also provide standard lift function from seated position.
These chairs are operated by a simple 4 or 6 button handset offering the choice of operating the back independently of the footplate. Whilst more expensive they provide much more choice of posture.
As above, but when the footplate reaches it’s maximum height it will extend by a further 4”–6”. When in recline mode the position will fix the hips and back angle to raise the legs higher than the level of the heart. This is the Trendelenburg position.
These chairs are designed for customers with restricted room to operate a chair within. Unlike traditionally designed Riser – recliners they can be situated within 4 inches of a wall behind and still provided you with a full reclined position.
Enables the occupant to be tilted forward or backwards in the chair whilst maintaining the position of the knees & hips. Useful for poor trunk control.
A simple handset built into your chair will provide a variety of massage functions for up to 10 areas of your body and with the addition of heat if required – you will have the ultimate chair.
For clients who are at risk of pressure sores these chairs are constructed with the use of pressure relieving foam. An extra expense but well worth it if you are at risk.
With infection control in mind – why not consider Panvelle Stretch fabrics which are Anti – Microbial/ Anti –fungal (Anti MRSA) waterproof, breathable, stain resistant, flame retardant to Crib 5 and multi – directional stretch.
You need to have the correct measurements of your chosen chair to give you the maximum comfort and benefit. Also do consider the overall size of the chair in relation to your room.
